Throughout my 12 year career, I have been given the opportunity to work alongside people from all walks of life. I appreciate each individual that I work with in a way that allows me to individualize their care and services with them on their journey of healing.
Being trained in EMDR, I have a passion for helping people with trauma/PTSD, anxiety/depression, and other mental health-related issues. I am also a Certified Daring Way Facilitator (Based on the research of Brene Brown) and I specialize in shame and guilt-related issues that get in the way of us living our most rewarding and authentic life.
Being an animal lover, I am excited to introduce my Equine Assisted Therapy Program located in Baltimore, Ohio to assist clients in healing through the amazing connection with horses. Going through the training from Natural Lifemanship Equine Professionals Program I have applied the use of true connection with horses and the effects of trauma on our brains to create healing in clients who have experienced a variety of trauma. I also work with the best and fluffiest therapist I know, Millie. She is my golden retriever currently working on her Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog certification.
Going on 4 years in private practice I find that an authentic and trusting relationship with the people I work alongside is my primary focus to assist in the healing process. Through active listening, exploration of values, and examining how our experiences impact and create themes in our lives I strive to collaborate with the people I work with.
